The past five weeks have flown by!  Having the teams here has been wonderful..such a blessing to the mission and the people here in Ruuska Village.  Here are a few things we have been able to help out with:

Trip to Canaan two, a tent village about ten minutes away that houses about 3000 families.  We were able to have a time of worship and children’s outreach to about 200 of the kids living there.  We also passed out food and soccer balls.  It was pouring rain, which did not dampen spirits, but did waylay a soccer match or two.

Greetings from Ruuska Village!  It has been a fantastic first week.  Upon arrival, we got to spend about two days with Barbara, Missy, Christopher and Roseberly before they headed off to Germany so the kids could be delivered to their forever home.  It was a wonderful reunion with the kids.  I am so thankful we were able to see them before they left.  Seeing all of the rebuilding that has happened since I was here last has been great.  I have attached a few pictures for you to see the three buildings that are currently being worked on.
